what do think about micro inverters?

In my experience its worth renting a stump grinder for half a day and taking care of a dozen or so of them in one shot. Wish I did it years ago!

just spend 40 bucks, get a commercially available puller harbor freight, home depot, menards, Tractor supply - almost anyone has em - cheap - easy to use, always have it ready - much easier tand quicker to use that this contraption.

We just took down five trees. Some pines. Some oaks. The oak roots are huge and run across the yard in several directions even going under a neighbors fence and disappearing. Unfortunately, we can't take the chance to do a burn like some suggested. But, I will try the epsom salt method. Thank you!

What about potassium nitrate, commonly used in many commercial root removal formulations? We did just plain cutting chainsaw below the ground/water line, and it worked quite well. Only took about 6+years to get wood below ground level, and the local Bears helped, by digging at them for the ants and bugs...

The problem is not the stump. It is the branched out roots that keep growing.

When it comes to removing stumps, I just cut the roots around stump and drill holes down the center, and a few intersecting ones on the sides so it burns hot and fast. By cutting the roots around the stump, I reduce the risk of the fire spreading underground through connecting roots. Or ones simply too close. As long as it isn't too windy and dry.

Wouldn't it be better to have the spin down BEFORE the pump to protect it from sediment?

Before I could transplant it, it took off and grew like a maniac. It's just to close to the house, but it's a really nice shade tree. I'm going to save a few nuts and get one started further away from the house.
